Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Do I need prior experience to take a course?

Not at all. Iron Belle Defense offers courses for every skill level, from complete beginners to experienced shooters. Our entry-level classes focus on confidence and safety, while advanced options provide tactical and defensive training.

2. Will I be shooting in every class?

No. Some courses are classroom-only and focus on safety, awareness, and mindset. Others include live fire range instruction. Each course description clearly states whether live fire is included so you know what to expect.

3. Can pregnant women attend classes?

Pregnant women are welcome to attend classroom-only courses, but for health and safety reasons, they may not participate in live fire sessions. This protects both mother and child from exposure to lead and loud noise on the range.

4. Can minors take courses?

Yes, with restrictions:

For classroom-only courses, minors may attend with written parental consent.

For live fire courses, a parent or guardian must be present at all times.

5. What should I bring to class?

For classroom-only courses: just bring a notebook, a government-issued ID, and a willingness to learn.

For live fire courses: eye and ear protection, a firearm and ammunition (if you own one), and valid ID. If you don’t own a firearm, rental options may be available — details are included in your course confirmation email.

6. What is your cancellation and refund policy?

We require at least one week’s notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Payments are non-refundable, but they can be applied toward another course within the same calendar year. This ensures fairness and flexibility for all participants.
