Iron Youth: Firearms Safety & Awareness for Kids and Teens

Building confidence starts with building knowledge. Iron Youth is a classroom-based safety course designed specifically for kids and teens. This class introduces firearm awareness, safety principles, and respect for firearms in a calm, age-appropriate, and judgment-free environment. Students will learn what to do if they ever encounter a firearm, how to identify unsafe situations, and how responsible gun ownership works within families and communities.

What We’ll Cover:

• Firearm safety rules explained in kid-friendly terms
• Understanding what to do if a gun is found or seen
• Safe behavior around firearms at home and in public
• The importance of adult supervision and responsible handling
• Introduction to range etiquette (discussion only, no live-fire)
• Hands on with training aids.

Session Details:

• Duration: 60–90 minutes
• Class Type: Classroom-based (no live-fire)
• Age Range: 8–17 years old (grouped by age level when possible)
• Parent/Guardian: Attendance recommended for youth under 12
• Prerequisite: None — open to all experience levels
