Texas License to Carry (LTC) Registration

Live-Fire Qualification

The State of Texas requires a live-fire proficiency demonstration to obtain your License to Carry.

Our classroom course includes the required instruction. Students may complete the live-fire qualification during the scheduled range session or at a later date if needed.

Online registration is free and reserves your seat. Course payment is due at check-in on the day of class.

What to Bring

• Government-issued photo ID
• Note-taking materials (optional)
• Firearm and ammunition (if completing the live-fire qualification and bringing your own)
• Eye and ear protection for the range portion (if applicable)

Before You Register

• Seating is limited, and advance registration is encouraged.
• Registration reserves your seat and helps us prepare for class.
• Payment is collected at check-in.
• Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in.
• Upon successful completion of all Texas LTC requirements, you'll receive the required documentation to submit your application through the Texas Department of Public Safety.
